Dear Pillars of the Brown County Republican Party
(otherwise known as Brown County Republican Women)

Happy New Year to all:

The 2008 Presidential Elections, could well be the most important election of all our lives. I think it is critical that we work harder and smarter in this coming election cycle, than we have ever done before. By the time you read this, the Iowa Caucus will have taken place then, by February 5 (super Tuesday), we may well know who the nominees will be for both Republicans and Democrats. On March 4, we will have our Texas Republican Primary and for sure we will know who we will be working for and against from then until the November 4th general election. Regardless of the Democratic nominee, we must do everything possible to elect a Republican President and assure that Senator John Cornyn is re-elected. I fear that this country cannot endure 4-8 years of any of the democrat’s Presidential hopefuls.

Republican Women are the real backbone of the party, whether you look at County, State, or National. Without the downtown headquarters to man, hopefully it will free up some time for each of you to be involved in working in your individual neighborhood and precinct, to ensure we get record VOTER TURNOUT, in the March Primary and again in the November General Election. Just think what an impact we can have on the elections, IF we each influence 5 voters to think like we do, AND more importantly get them to GO VOTE!

I appreciate all that each of you do for the GOP. Remember it is, “THE GRAND OLD PARTY”. We must prevail in 2008.

Sincerely,

Brad Locker
