The Republican Philosophy from the
Texas Federation of Republican Women.
The Brown County Republican Women's Club was organized in 1984 to foster and encourage loyalty to the Republican Party and to promote its principles and candidates. In addition, the Club works to increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government through active participation. The organization is a member of the Federation of Republican Women of the State of Texas and the National Federation of Republican Women.
Any woman believing in the philosophy of the Republican Party and the objective of the organization is welcomed for membership upon the payment of annual dues of $25. Republican men may become associate members upon payment of annual dues of $10.
Club meetings are held on the second Friday of every month at the Brownwood Country Club at 11:30am. Political figures and candidates from throughout the State visit as guest speakers. Meetings are open to the public.
The Republican Women participate in local, state and national campaigns, making Republican Women the most powerful women's political organization in the country.
